Sore knees, still a floor
Hey —
Sore knees (or a cranky joint week) aren’t a character test. They’re a cue to change the strength touch, not to throw out macros awareness and call Monday a restart.
Strength for life works the same way: the floor stays; the moves flex.
Adjust the lift (ideas only)
- Swap standing work for seated or floor options you already know (bands, lighter loads, shorter range)
- Keep one short session if it feels workable — same “counts” rule, different shape
- Skip the lift if pain is loud or sleep is shot — protect the food floor; strength comes back when the joint does
We’re not diagnosing knees. If something feels wrong or keeps worsening, talk with a qualified clinician. Education here is about not abandoning the whole week.
Walks still count
A walk still counts as movement. Walks aren’t a strength session. On a sore-knee week, walking (or whatever low-impact movement you already use) can be the movement line while strength is paused or adjusted.
Food floor stays
Protein you like · produce · a carb you already use — at one meal you can still shape. Log once if the app feels possible. No make-up restriction for a skipped squat.
This week’s action: Write two lines: (1) food floor stays; (2) lift = adjust / shorten / skip. Run that pair this week — not a new program when the knee feels better.
