How it comes together
- Mix the ground turkey with the panko, almond milk, green onion, egg, coconut aminos, garlic, ginger, and pepper.
- Roll into meatballs and bake until cooked through.
- While they bake, warm the honey, coconut aminos, sriracha, and sesame oil, then thicken it with potato starch.
- Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce.
- Serve over brown basmati rice or quinoa with veg.
Swaps and serving ideas
- No spice: use BBQ sauce instead of the sweet and spicy glaze.
- Works for family dinner, a prep batch for the week, or party appetizers.
The shape
- Protein you can get fast: baked turkey meatballs
- Produce: whatever veg you serve alongside, plus green onion in the mix
- Carb you already use: brown basmati rice or quinoa
Starting vs already tracking
- Curious / restarting: one family dinner, one plate logged. That counts.
- Already tracking: the glaze has honey in it, so log the sauce along with the meatballs.
